After watching John Hodgman on The Daily Show a couple of months ago I immediately added his book The Areas of My Expertise to my Amazon wishlist. I have yet to pull the trigger on it, but his appearance again the other night, brought me that much closer. From the reviews, his book appears to be all "absurdly false".
I haven't paid for a McSwy's-affiliated book in a while (I get enough with the subscription and the occasional online list), but the Hodgman is definitely something I'd like to read at some pt.
And but so he's been on TDS before the other night? Get up in The Apiary and issue a blistering corrective!
I think he was on before as a guest to push his book. Please don't issue a blistering corrective! I've had like 4 blistering correctives issued at me already this week.
Askmefi thread about other similar lists and the historical antecedents for the meme.

Who's the boss? Chuck Norris
hey mikey couldn't help but notice there's no Journey in your recently played 100. what's up with THAT.
I have a separate recently played 100 just for Journey. If patrons of The R show enough interest, I'll post a link to that one, too.
I, for one, would welcome that with Open Arms.
That ain't torture!
