Apple gets 20 years to iLife.

This applies to mine. I'll take option one, please.

I got a claim form for this in the mail today. Thing is, none of my iPods have crapped out battery-wise yet ... not even my old 20 gigger that I got over two years ago. Oh well ...

What exactly does the claim form offer/promise? Is it clear how they tied your iPod purchases to you? Or are you a registration form sucker?

Pretty much everything you need to know can be found at this site.

Short story is, if your 3rd gen ipod, when fully charged, plays for less than 4 hours before dying, you get to cash in.

Option #1 is a replacement battery OR replacement iPod (at Apple's discretion).

Option #2 is $50 store credit [what the?!].

I'm with the good doctor on this one.

I guess latron I'll test mine to see if it dies in less than four hours [though I know it won't ... alas].

Not sure how they found me, but I did register my pods, foo'.

I sent in my form already. I'm going with option 2. I've never really tested my ipod to determine how long my battery lasts these days, nor do I plan on trying, but I'm cashing in anyway.

Just print this. That way we don't have to actually spend any time together ...
